In the patented MULTI S system the lower table is of a composite type and includes three sandwich tables: the central table is connected to the two lateral ones by means of an elliptical constraint system related to the front and rear boards.

Thanks to the lateral goosenecks, the optical scales with thousandth resolution detect the deformation and compensate automatically.

In this way, a deformation compensation structure is created and, when the sheet metal is bent, the reaction forces tend to deform the lower table and the upper table in parallel, ensuring constant bending angle.
